The Planet Factory allows the player to manufacture other building locally and also benefits planet owners by removing the delivery fees for all buildings. Consequently, by building a planet factory, the cost for other buildings reduces by removing the delivery fee attached to the base price. Planet owners can purchase planet buildings, such as the planet factory, using the BYG token. The build time for the planet factory, as well as other buildings, depends on the planet's proximity to the Planet Iris, located in the BYG Star Alliance system. If a player's planet is closer to the planet Iris, then the build speed will decrease by small increments. The latter also applies where planets further away from the planet Iris will take longer to build buildings due to the increased delivery time of building materials – as such, prices for this building varies. The planet factory removes this time and small cost of BYG by being able to construct the necessary buildings materials to construct other buildings and structures locally on the planet surface.
Cost: Minimum 100 BYG (cost increases depending on proximity to Planet Iris, i.e., further out your planet the higher the cost for building).
Build time: 120 Hours
Delivery time: depends on how close you are to Planet Iris.
Since building materials are delivered from the planet Iris, delivery costs will depend on how far away a planet is from Iris.
Mining stations allow planet owners to start mining the natural resources (currently the BYG token) of the planet. Players need to build at least 1 mining station to begin mining the natural resources of the planet. Players can build a planet factory to reduce the cost and build time for the mining station. Planet owners can build a maximum of three mining stations per planet. By building more mining stations, the time to mine the planet's natural resources significantly decreases, allowing the planet owner to recuperate BYG tokens quicker.
Building 1x mining station makes the mining time 255 days to mine the planet's total natural resources.
Building 2x mining stations makes the mining time 170 days.
Building 3x mining stations makes the mining time 85 days.
These figures are applicable to all planets, regardless of class and number of natural resources each planet has.
Cost without Planet Factory: Minimum 55 BYG (cost increases depending on proximity to Planet Iris, i.e., further out your planet the higher the cost for building).
Cost with Planet Factor: 55 BYG
Build time: 72 Hours
Delivery time: depends on how close you are to Planet Iris.
Building a repair station allows planet owners to offer planetary services to players across the galaxy. When other players in Black Eye Galaxy use the repair station to repair their spaceships, planet owners can make a small amount of BYG from each service. This reward can be found in the planet owners “My Assets” tab in-game. The cost for the repair station is more than what the planet factor and mining stations costs, largely due to how the planet owner can make BYG from this building. All spaceships can be repaired at a repair stations.
Players must repair their spaceships in order to sell on the player marketplace.
Repair stations can repair spaceships at 1% per hour (30% damaged is equal to 30 hours of repair time at 1 BYG per percent). Building a planet factory reduces the time to build and cost of the repair station. Players can build the repair station and salvage depot with no cap or limit to buildings (subject to change).
Cost without Planet Factory: Minimum 100 BYG (cost increases depending on proximity to Planet Iris, i.e., further out your planet the higher the cost for building).
Cost with a Planet Factory: 100 BYG
Build time: 130 Hours
Delivery time: depends on how close you are to Planet Iris.
99% of Repair Costs goes towards Repair Station owners.
DAO Tax is a 1% tax that is taken off rewards received and is sent to the Black Eye Galaxy Treasurey. The DAO tax is applicable to planet rewards and repair stations.
The salvage depot is another building that can be constructed which orbits planets and offering salvage trading services for spaceships, in particularly the Salvage Team units.
Salvage Depots allows other players to:
Trade in salvage (sell scrap collected)
Recycle their used spaceships
Useful for when a player has maximized their capacity for the Salvage Team or MK2 Asteroid Hunter, and thus the only option presented is to recycle their spaceship.
Upgrade their Salvage Team (by upgrading this spaceship, it inherently increases the salvage capacity, meaning that players can collect more salvage over a period of time).
Cost without Planet Factory: Minimum 200 BYG (cost increases depending on proximity to Planet Iris, i.e., further out your planet the higher the cost for building).
Cost with a Planet Factory: 200 BYG
Build time: 130 Hours
Delivery time: depends on how close you are to Planet Iris.
3% of salvage/scrap sold goes towards Salvage Depot owners.
